The US Postal Service

The US Postal Service continues to hemorrhage massive amounts of money for a number of reasons. A large part has to do with the forced payments into future retirees' health fund. Other reasons include lower volume of first class mail and, overall, over-staffing. The time has come to close smaller offices and curtail 6 day delivery. There are, at least, 10 local offices which should be closed. The US Postal Service simply can't afford to continue to steer the current course.
