Seventh Fleet Off Hawaii in 1930s
Camptown resident Kermit Goodenough submitted this rare look at the U.S. Seventh Fleet sailing off Waikiki Beach in a photo snapped in 1932-33. The photo was shot by Kermit Kosch, a friend of Goodenough’s father who was stationed with the army at Schofield Barracks. George Goodenough named his son after Kosch.
