What Qualifies As a Gateway Drug?
Marijuana has long been stigmatized as a “gateway” drug, the term referencing a commonly held belief that those who smoke pot are more likely to experiment with other substances. A recent Franklin & Marshall College poll of Pennsylvanians suggests that a growing number of citizens support at least some form of legalization of marijuana use.
