David, "ritual third world

David, "ritual third world country"? I didn't realize third world countries had electricity, running water, Iphones, postal service, 2-3 automobiles per household, a tv in every room of the house, etc. Also, I neglected to mention at the meeting that the DEP - Outreach Assistance Program was in town during the day on Tuesday for a kickoff meeting. The Outreach Assistance program is a voluntary program that provides technical and management advice to public water systems. They are going to be utilized as one of the resources to ensure clean drinking water at the best possible rates. It was very good to see so much public participation in the meeting Tuesday evening. As I see it, we have two choices. We can sit around and complain about the situation with our drinking water in Laceyville or we can learn about what we are facing and fix the problems. The meeting August 20th at 7pm will detail what we are facing, along with the possible choices we have. Thanks Keith Pennay
