‘Birdbrains’ Enjoy Morning Paddle as County Counters
In the calm of a brilliantly sunny Saturday morning, I was fortunate recently to set into the Susquehanna River at Terrytown with four other kayakers who embarked on a five-and-ahalf hour float to Laceyville for the purpose of identifying and counting bird species along the stretch of waterway as it runs to the Wyoming County border.
