Connie Rose Bolt

Connie Rose Bolt, 71, of Monroeton, PA, passed away Wednesday morning, Nov. 16, 2016 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Born on Jan. 9, 1945 in Towanda, she was the daughter of Harold and Bessie Washburn Charland.

She was a graduate of Towanda High School and was employed by the P & C Market in Wysox for a number of years. Connie possessed great love for her family and enjoyed cooking and playing Bingo.

Surviving are her children, Larry Ronald Johnson, Jr. and wife, Teresa; Lorraine Dee Bolt; Keith Robert Bolt and wife, Rita; Desiree Rose Bolt Pruyne (Stanley Trivelpiece, Jr.); Theodore Charles Bolt; Randy Bolt and wife, Lorraine; Darlene Gee and husband, Gary; Jeannette Weidman and husband, David; Edward Bolt and wife, Paula; Deborah Mays and husband, Clifton; 28 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren; sisters, Dale Smales, Melanie Bostwick and Dolly Altieri; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James Theodore "Jim" Bolt on March 6, 2007; son, Terry Lee Johnson; grandsons, Edward James Bolt and Dereck Dustin Johnson, and her companion, James "Ting" Leighton.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 19 at 1 p.m. at the Maryott-Bowen Funeral Home, 217 York Avenue, Towanda, with Rev. Robert Martin officiating. Interment will be private in the Monroeton Cemetery, Monroeton.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests that contributions may be directed to Happy Tails No-Kill Animal Shelter, Inc. PO Box 68, Towanda, PA 18848 in Connie's memory.
