Notice of General Primary Election, Wyoming County, May 15, 2018. In accordance with the Acts of Assembly No. 320 approved June 3rd, 1967 P.L. etc. and the Amendments thereto providing for a uniform method of electing certain party offices and making nominations for National, State, County, District and Township Offices. Notice is hereby given that nominations will be made at the General Primary Election to be held Tuesday, May 15, 2018, in and for Wyoming County, Pennsylvania as follows: EACH POLITICAL PARTY IS ENTITLED TO NOMINATE CANDIDATES FOR THE FOLLOWING OFFICES: United States Senator, One; Governor, One; Lieutenant Governor, One; Representative in Congress, 11th Congressional District, One; (NOTE: The apportionment of congressional districts for the 2018 election cycle have not be finalized as of submission of this notice for publication.) Senator in the General Assembly, 20th Senatorial District, One; Representative in the General Assembly, 117th, One; The following are political offices and the number to be elected in the General Primary Election. Member of the Republican State Committee, One. Member of the Democratic State Committee, One. Committee members for each of the 30 election districts in Wyoming County Democratic; In addition to the above, a special election may be held on any official question or referendum certified. The polling places in Wyoming County will be open from 7 oÕclock a.m. (Prevailing time) to 8 oÕclock p.m. (Prevailing time) on Tuesday, May 15, 2018. Florence M.
